After what just transpired at the school, Marites (Cherry Pie Picache) couldn’t help but get extra worried about the safety of Tanggol (Coco Martin).
She told Don Julio (Tommy Abuel) on their way back to the mansion that they shouldn’t have retaliated against the Guerreros when they confronted them because she’s certain that they will go after Tanggol, especially if he wins the elections. Don Julio affirmed it by saying that the Guerreros couldn’t stand to lose, so they’ll definitely do anything to win in the end, especially in the elections.
Thus, she advised Tanggol to be more careful since if his rivals already attempted to kill him during the campaign period, what more if he wins? Tanggol appeased her by assuring Marites that she’s always ready to fight them, as well as vowing to get all of them incarcerated once he becomes the mayor of Manila.
Little did they know that Roberto (Albert Martinez) had already coordinated with Lucio (Ronnie Lazaro) and the Red Phoenix to ambush them, making sure that Tanggol will be killed this time.
