Upon seeing Don Gustavo (Dante Rivero) and his henchmen leave the school premises after casting their votes, Olivia (Chanda Romero) told her right-hand and bodyguards that they needed to immediately depart as well and go to the hospital, as she sensed that the old man was plotting something wicked anew against her mother.
And true enough, Don Gustavo indeed went to the hospital where Pilar was admitted and wreaked havoc as they searched for her. Unbeknown to him, Olivia and her minions were also there already to take her out of the hospital to save her from being murdered by Gustavo. A gunfight may have ensued between their henchmen, but Olivia and Pilar still managed to escape.
Gustavo was indeed enraged and disappointed upon learning this from one of his goons, which made him more eager to come after them and finish Pilar off. He ordered that henchman to make sure that the shots of all the CCTVs that captured them be deleted.
