Patrick (Joshua Garcia) arrived at Mia’s (Anne Curtis) mansion and agreed to let Matmat (Carlo Aquino) work as her illustrator and live there as part of the job, though under certain conditions. His change of heart came after Nanay Li (Rio Locsin)’s advice, making him realize it might be best to support Matmat’s decision to accept Mia’s offer, unaware that Nanay Li secretly regretted pushing him, knowing how it would affect her daughter Gemma (Kaori Oinuma).

Mia accepted all of Patrick’s conditions, including that they would only stay at the mansion on weekdays and return to their apartment on weekends, and that Matmat’s therapy sessions would remain the priority.

In the next scene, Mia gave the brothers a tour of her mansion, starting with the library where she said she and Matmat would be working on the books. Matmat was in awe of the vast collection and eagerly browsed the shelves when Mia allowed him to. As Matmat flipped through the books, Mia tried to get to know Patrick by asking about his hobbies, but Patrick had little to share, leaving Matmat to answer most of the questions. He nearly revealed the reason behind their constant moving from house to house, which was the reason he requested for a camper van as payment for illustrating Mia’s books, though Patrick stopped him before he could say more.

Mia then showed them the bedroom where the brothers would stay. Meanwhile, outside the mansion, a mysterious man was quietly watching their every move.
