Mia (Anne Curtis) once again gave Vincent (Enchong Dee) an early headache. Still in Maravida, Vincent, along with his assistant Madeth (Xyriel Manabat), stopped by a café to buy sweets and coffee for Mia, hoping the gesture would help soften her sour mood toward him and finally convince her to return to the city to face the opportunities waiting for her, including endorsements that his publishing company badly needs. Everything seemed fine until Madeth bluntly reminded him that in all the time he had been at Mia’s beck and call, she had never once seen her eat sweets.
The real misfortune began when they arrived at the Hernandez mansion and were bewildered by the sight of a mysterious figure wrapped in a blanket outside the front door. Their noisy curiosity ended up waking the person, who turned out to be none other than Matmat (Carlo Aquino). Things only got worse for Vincent when Mia suddenly opened the door where he was leaning, causing him to fall, and then she rejected his pleas.
Vincent was left stunned upon learning that his prized writer had hired Matmat as her new illustrator. He insisted it was the wrong decision, arguing they would never get work done living under one roof with so many distractions, but said she's more comfortable now that she would have her “safety pin” by her side. Right after those words, Patrick (Joshua Garcia) arrived at the mansion carrying his and Matmat's clothes.
