Still riding on the Christmas spirit—literally! In the December 25 episode of "Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0," John Clifford, Carmelle Collado, Princess Aliyah and Fred Moser were tasked to cover 39.87 KM on the stationary bike, representing the total distance from the house to their gift-givers.
If the earlier housemates had to play detective by identifying their loved one among five mystery choices, this time the twist of the challenge was tied to a pictorial. Big Brother assigned weekly leaders Caprice Cayetano and Joaquin Arce a secret pictorial task for Clifford, Carmelle, and Princess.
For the first four photos, Caprice and Joaquin had to make it look like any regular pictorial. But on the fifth one, the housemate being photographed had no idea that their loved one was secretly posing behind them.
Clifford was up first for the photoshoot, unaware that his mom Sofia was already inside the confession room, talking to Big Brother. Mommy Sofia got emotional during the conversation as she opened up about how much she misses Clifford. Back in the task room, the housemates got started on the five photo poses, with Caprice and Joaquin a little nervous, knowing how naturally observant Clifford is. They were worried he might figure out the surprise t before the fifth shot.
But the pictorial turned out to be a success, even though Clifford couldn’t stop laughing at the poses Joaquin was making him do. When Caprice handed him the polaroid of the fifth shot, he noticed that his mom was in the background. Clifford turned around and was greeted with a hug from his mother.
That one hug was all it took for Clifford to feel peace and strength in his heart. Even though Mommy Sofia clearly misses him so much, she made sure to let Clifford know that the whole family is rooting for him, and all they want is for him to be genuinely happy inside Bahay ni Kuya.
Mommy Sofia’s gift for Clifford was a Christmas ham, which has always been part of their family tradition and is also tied to their family business. Clifford had often told his housemates about it, wishing they’d get to taste it one day. And now, he finally gets to share a piece of home with them.
