In the December 23 episode of “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0,” Kuya prepared Christmas gifts for the housemates, which they’ll only be able to open if they successfully complete the 9th weekly task called “Paskong Hatid Regalo.” This challenge requires each duo to work together—one will play Santa Claus and ride a sleigh, while the other will act as the reindeer pedaling a stationary bike to reach a set distance.
The housemate whose name shows up on the plasma screen will have the opportunity to open their gift for that day. The distance they need to reach is based on the actual distance from Bahay Ni Kuya to the place where their loved one, who prepared the gift, is located. Joaquin Arce and Caprice Cayetano were assigned as the task leaders for the week.
They were also the first duo to take on the task, assigned to cover a combined distance of 27.03 kilometers—the total distance of their houses from Bahay Ni Kuya—which they successfully completed through teamwork.
As promised, CapQuin were able to receive their presents. For Caprice, the surprise came from her father, Jorge, who personally delivered it. Caprice was then called into the task room where her much-awaited gift was waiting. But before she could claim it, she had to go through one last challenge. In front of her were five mystery hands, and she had to guess which one was holding her real reward.
Convinced that her dad was the one bringing her the gift, her game plan was simply to figure out which of the five hands belonged to him. And the moment she held the fifth hand, she immediately felt the love from it. For her, the actual gift was just a bonus. What made her happiest was holding her daddy’s hand, especially after missing him for so long.
Caprice burst into tears and surprise when Big Brother gave the go signal for her face-to-face reunion with her dad. She embraced him tightly, showing her softest, 'baby girl' side. And to top it all off, she was overjoyed to receive her dream bag from her parents.
As they said goodbye, Daddy Jorge shared some heartfelt advice with Caprice. He reminded her to always stay positive and to never forget that her family outside is cheering her on. He added that she's never really alone inside Bahay Ni Kuya, as she’s surrounded by a new family who loves her—her housemates.
