After being put under intense scrutiny this week due to their inappropriate actions towards some of the girl housemates—which probably served as one of the greatest challenges and learning experiences they’d ever had in their “Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0” journey—Lee Victor and Iñigo Jose went on to face their heartbreaking eviction this Saturday, December 13.

But prior to their farewell, the two charming lads got to join their housemates in carrying out their 7th weekly task called “Patong-Patong na Presents”, in which they had to stack Christmas boxes and make sure that nothing would fall as they transported and passed it on to the next housemate in line.

They were supposed to pile up 16 boxes in order to succeed in this task, but since they had to start all over again every time the stack of boxes got knocked down, they really found it hard to accomplish the task. But in spite of the frustration and exhaustion they’d surely felt, especially upon learning that it was already their last day of doing the task, they kept going until the very last minute.

The housemates may have failed to complete their task after only being able to reach 11 boxes, but Kuya won’t let them proceed in the coming week with zero budget, as he still awarded them half of it for successfully stacking 10 boxes—much to their surprise and delight. Besides, it also allowed Lee to carry out his “good deed” for Carmelle Collado, which was to give her a relaxing day by doing random things for her—, tidying up her plate after she finished eating, and preparing juice for her.

Carmelle and her bestie, Krystal Mejes, couldn’t help but be confused by Lee’s actions, so the latter finally confronted him the next day and asked why he had been acting so weird towards her. But since it was a secret task, Lee told her that as much as he would have wanted to divulge the reason behind it, he just couldn’t yet.

Not long after, Big Brother gave nominated housemates Lee, Iñigo, Heath Jornales, and Fred Moser the go-signal to finally tell the others about their “secret tasks.” The first one to spill his “secret task” was Lee, followed by Heath, who confessed that the real reason why he wanted Caprice Cayetano to be the recipient of his good deed was because he saw it as an opportunity for him to build a connection with her.

Since they failed to reach levels 12 and 14, Iñigo and Fred weren’t able to give their presents to Lella Ford and Princess Aaliyah, respectively. Thus, as they spoke with their giftees, Iñigo told Lella that he was actually planning to prepare tinolang manok sa gata for her, which is apparently her favorite dish that her mom Karla Estrada cooks, while Fred relayed to Princess that he was supposed to give her a handmade gift.

Meanwhile, Lee and Heath further explained to Carmelle and Caprice their reasons for choosing them as the recipients of their good deeds, as well as what made them decide to give those presents to them. While it was apparently easy for Lee to express himself to Carmelle, Heath seemed to have a hard time in keeping his conversation with Caprice, which he confessed to his closest male housemates Miguel Vergara, Anton Vinzon, and John Clifford.

As the much-awaited moment of truth came, “PBB” host Bianca Gonzalez appeared onscreen not just to announce who among the four nominated housemates would be evicted that night but also to remind them to keep in mind everything that they’d learned from what they went through over the past week. Between the two nominated Kapuso housemates, it was Lee whom she declared the latest evictee, while it was Iñigo for the Kapamilya housemates.

Based on the official tally of votes for the third eviction night shared by hosts Luis Manzano and Gabbi Garcia, Heath once again won by a landslide after raking in 84.41% of the total votes, while Lee only got 15.59%. On the other hand, it was quite a close fight between the two Star Magic heartthrobs, with Fred garnering 59.48% of the total votes while Iñigo only got 40.52%.

Just like in the previous eviction nights, Big Brother gave the latest evictees his parting presents for them, which were the montage of some of the momentous highlights of their “PBB” journey along with his heartwarming messages for each of them.

Being one of the youngest housemates, Kuya was pleased by how Lee embodied what a true “Kabataang Pinoy” is, as well as how he showcased his capabilities and how he owned up to his mistakes. In his return to the outside world, Big Brother wished the “Energetic Son-bassador ng Cavite” to keep learning with an open mind and pure heart.

On the other hand, Iñigo wasn’t able to hold his emotions as he watched and listened to Kuya’s tribute for him. Big Brother commended him for proving that pagpapakatotoo, or authenticity, isn’t about being perfect but about having the courage to change. As his “PBB” journey ended, he wished the “Caring Kuya ng Parañaque” to keep becoming the best version of himself.

As they went out of Bahay ni Kuya, they were welcomed not by the hosts, but by their respective fans and moms as well. When quizzed by host Bianca about the biggest change that had happened to them after their “PBB” stint, Iñigo said that he was reminded to be respectful towards other people regardless of age, while Lee imparted that he has become a better and more mature man during his stay.

Now that Lee and Iñigo are out of the house, what’s going to happen next to the remaining 14 housemates of Kuya? Don’t miss an episode of “PBB Collab 2.0,” which can be watched online via livestreams on the PBB YouTube Channel, Kapamilya Online Live (KOL), and iWant.
