The “Bakit List” talk show continued in the December 10 episode of "Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0," giving the housemates a chance to express their curiosities and learn about the opposite gender.
In this open forum activity, both the male and female housemates were tasked to write a “Bakit List" or a series of questions meant to understand the mindset and behavior of the opposite gender, with houseguest Shuvee Etrata taking on the role of mediator. She would relay the questions from one group, given that the house was still divided at the time and the girls and boys won’t be able to see each other, though they could hear each other’s answers.
Caprice Cayetano threw in the question, "Bakit ba nasanay na kayo sa mga ganu'ng klaseng biro," referring to the "inappropriate" jokes previously called out by the girls. Iñigo Jose responded for the boys, explaining that this might be because of their level of comfort with one another, which is why they sometimes fail to realize that the jokes are getting offensive, although he acknowledged that it’s something he personally knows he has to work on, "May mga pwedeng sabihin at may mga bawal."
The question, "Bakit hindi tugma 'yung mga salita n'yo sa gawa n'yo," hit John Clifford on a personal level, as if he was drawing from his real-life romantic experiences. Lee Victor got emotional as he talked about how disappointing it feels for guys when they realize they can’t fulfill the promises they made to a person they care about.
Meanwhile, the boys' questions came in a little spicy, with Lee reading the first one, "Bakit ba minsan kahit may mga standards kayo, pumapatol pa rin kayo sa hindi pasok sa standards n'yo?" The girls laughed and answered in unison that it’s because they see the good in people, which Shuvee interpreted as the girls having so much love to give, and that they love giving chances, and sometimes a girl’s “standards” (meaning her checklist of ideal traits in a man) bend when a connection grows into something more than expected.
The next question was also a heavy-hitter, "Bakit ba hindi n'yo agad kami kinausap patungkol sa mga jokes na hindi n'yo nagustuhan?" Krystal Mejes, who led the conversations about the boys’ jokes, answered, "Honestly because we were seeking for the other girls' validation if sensitive nga lang ba kami or we're taking things too personally? Or it's actually wrong and we have to do something about it?" She continued, "They're men and we don't know how they're going to react especially when it comes to that very sensitive topic."
"Bakit ba hindi kayo bukas sa opinyon ng mga babae?"—that was the final question from the girls. Miguel Vergara shared that personally, he doesn’t see it that way, as he’s actually more comfortable opening up to girls since “they listen more” and give intelligent advice. As Joaquin Arce put, "Girls have better feelings. They feel more than guys," which is why, for him, it’s easier to accept criticism from girls because he knows they tend to be more observant.
Fred Moser added that having two sisters made him used to seeking validation from them about his decisions and actions, since girls give the best pieces of advice.
The boys missed the girls so much, so they decided to wear their hearts on their spatulas and whip up some good old pancakes. Because what better way to say "I miss you" and serve their fluffy and syrupy feels than with pancakes, right?
Rave Victoria and Fred Moser each prepared special pancake deliveries with messages—Rave’s said “TY” for Ashley Sarmiento, while Fred’s said “IMY” for Princess Aliyah—which they asked Shuvee to hand over. Meanwhile, Joaquin gave pancakes to all the girls, but the heart-shaped one for Lella Ford definitely seemed a little more special.
As the other girls gushed over the sweet gestures, they turned their attention to Caprice Cayetano and grilled her about her ideal guy. And with every trait she mentioned, the others kept relating it to housemate Heath Jornales. Is CapHeath giving off spark?
By the end of the episode, the boys and girls finally saw each other again for the first time in a few days since the house was divided. But at first, they weren’t allowed to talk to each other—aside from reading the letters they had written for one another.
