A new trailer for Spider-Man: Brand New Day was unveiled on Thursday, June 18.
The trailer offers a glimpse into Peter Parker’s (Tom Holland) latest struggle as he grapples with newly evolving powers that appear to be spiraling out of control. In one scene, Peter seeks the help of Bruce Banner, also known as the Hulk, in hopes of suppressing the unstable changes within him.
"You found a way to suppress mutating DNA, right? So could you get rid of the bad aspects and keep the good?" Peter asks Bruce.
Bruce responds with a thought-provoking question: "How would you decide what parts of nature are good and bad?"
The trailer also hints at a mysterious, invisible enemy, adding a new layer of danger to Spider-Man’s journey. Amid the chaos, Peter is seen rescuing MJ (Zendaya) while battling the “monster” within himself.
Frank Castle, also known as the Punisher (Jon Bernthal), joins Peter in his battles, as seen in the trailer.
Fans online were quick to react to the trailer.
"I have been waiting my entire life for a movie with Spidey and Hulk together! Childhood dreams really do come true," one fan commented.
"The most powerful thing about Spider-Man isn't his strength. It's his ability to keep going after losing everything," another fan wrote.

According to the film’s official description, Spider-Man: Brand New Day follows Peter Parker as he fights crime full-time in a world that no longer remembers him. As he watches his old friends move on without him, the emotional strain triggers a transformation he may not be able to control.
"But that transformation might also be the only thing that can stop a shocking new threat to the city and those he loves - a powerful villain no one can even see. The world may have forgotten Peter Parker, but he hasn’t forgotten them," the description added.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set for release in Philippine cinemas on July 29.
