Zendaya explained why she chooses not to confirm or deny ongoing marriage rumors involving Tom Holland.
In an interview on Modern Love, a podcast by The New York Times, the actress acknowledged the public's interest in their relationship, noting that she understands where it comes from.
“I just feel like for me there is a level of a parasocial investment in my personal relationship, which I understand. I’m aware that I'm a public person and so is he, and I’m also aware that we’ve grown up in front of people and we’ve done movies where we fall in love with each other, so I really do understand that, and I don’t want to dismiss that like, ‘Stay out of my business’ or whatever," she highlighted.
Despite this, Zendaya emphasized the importance of maintaining boundaries when it comes to her private life.
"In a lot of ways, I’m also a very private person and I try my best to be able to have things for myself and for him as well," she stated. "We do our best in general, to not hide ourselves from the world, but just to I think preserve things for ourselves so that we can maintain that joy just within ourselves and our loved ones, and our family."
The star of the film The Drama added that while she acknowledges public curiosity, she is mindful of what she chooses to share.
"I hear it, but I also [have] my own little boundaries of what I like to bring up and talk about, but then also what I'm also willing to share, you know? I just try to find the balance in the middle there," she remarked.
Back in March, in an interview with Access Hollywood at the 2026 Actor Awards, Zendaya's stylist Law Roach claimed that the couple is already married.
"The wedding has already happened. You missed it," he proclaimed.
When asked by the reporter if what he said was true, Law pointed out: "It's very true! Thank you so much."
