Zendaya opened up about her experience working with partner Tom Holland in the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day movie.
In an interview with Elle magazine, Zendaya remarked: "Spider-Man was a dream; I get to go to work every day with my best friend, the person that I love."
She described working with Tom as a "family affair." The actress remarked: "We bring our dogs to work; it’s like a family affair. We grew up on those movies! It’s like coming home."
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is set to be released in Philippine cinemas on July 29.
Zendaya and Tom were recently embroiled in marriage rumors.
In an interview with Modern Love, a podcast by The New York Times, Zendaya spoke about the public fascination surrounding her relationship, saying she understands why people are invested in it.
“I just feel like for me there is a level of a parasocial investment in my personal relationship, which I understand. I’m aware that I'm a public person and so is he, and I’m also aware that we’ve grown up in front of people and we’ve done movies where we fall in love with each other, so I really do understand that, and I don’t want to dismiss that like, ‘Stay out of my business’ or whatever," she highlighted.
At the same time, Zendaya shared that she values keeping parts of her personal life private.
"In a lot of ways, I’m also a very private person and I try my best to be able to have things for myself and for him as well," she stated. "We do our best in general, to not hide ourselves from the world, but just to I think preserve things for ourselves so that we can maintain that joy just within ourselves and our loved ones, and our family."

The Spider-Man: Brand New Day star also said that while she is aware of the public’s curiosity, she carefully chooses what aspects of her life she wants to share.
"I hear it, but I also [have] my own little boundaries of what I like to bring up and talk about, but then also what I'm also willing to share, you know? I just try to find the balance in the middle there," she stated.
