As the Kapamilya mystery-thriller series What Lies Beneath nears its final episodes, the show’s lead actresses Sue Ramirez, Charlie Dizon, and Janella Salvador took to social media to share their appreciation for the success of the series.
On Instagram, Sue marked the end of her journey as Mel, describing the experience as both emotional and fulfilling.
“Still can't believe we have streamed our last episode on Netflix last night. It was bittersweet watching the finale but I'm so grateful and proud to be part of this show. Thank you @rcdnarratives for entrusting me the story of Mel. It has been an absolute pleasure to be part of the MABELs of What Lies Beneath. Miss you all already. 🥲♥️,” Sue wrote.
She also extended her appreciation to her co-stars.
“To my amazing co-actors, I am so honored to be among you. Thank you for always SHOWING UP. Fully, honestly and generously EVERY SINGLE TIME. I love you guys!!! This journey was more meaningful because I shared it with you. Always in awe of you 😭♥️,” she stated.
Sue likewise thanked viewers who followed the series and kept the mystery alive, adding: “And to everyone who came up to me asking, 'Sinong pumatay kay Luisa?' 🥲 thank you for watching, supporting, and staying with us until the very end. This was for you. 🫶🏻💕.”

Charlie, who played the role of Beth, also shared the same sentiments as she reflected on the series’ finale with the final episode aired on the streaming platform Netflix on Wednesday, March 18.
“Maraming salamat sa lahat ng sumubaybay sa amin. We went through so much, but everything was worth it. Watching the last episode on Netflix was so emotional… hindi pa rin nagsi-sink in na tapos na. Mamimiss ko lahat—especially si Beth (kahit madalas nakakairita siya 😅),” she shared.
“So happy and grateful to be part of this show. Thank you, @rcdnarratives at sa lahat ng bumubuo sa WLB sa walang sawang pag-intindi at pag-gabay sa amin. Mahal na mahal ko kayo ❤️,” she continued.
Meanwhile, Janella Salvador shared a couple of groufie with her MABE (acronym of their characters names) sisters: “MABE(L)s, signing off. 👯♀️👯♀️.”

Young actresses Eliza Borromeo and Allyson McBride, who played the younger versions of Alice and Beth, respectively, also shared on their social media accounts some photos looking back at their experience.
Former Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 housemate Eliza shared her appreciation as the series was her first acting project.
“What a beautiful first 🥹 forever grateful to @rcdnarratives for believing in me as young Alice, and for the friendships I found along the way. young Alice will always be special to me #whatliesbeneath,” Eliza wrote.
