The Queen of All Media is officially back.
Kris Aquino has landed an exciting new role with Netflix Philippines as its C.H.I.K.A. (Chief Head of Insights and Kontent Analysis), marking another milestone in her gradual return to the entertainment industry after years on hiatus.
On August 7, Kris first teased the collaboration through her Instagram Stories, where she shared a playful video showing her discovering that Netflix Philippines was looking for its newest C.H.I.K.A.
"Netflix is hiring! Chief Head of Insights and Kontent Analysis. Well, with my forty years of experience in commercials, TV, the movies, and let's be honest, I was the very first to do online vlogging. This job is meant for me. So, Netflix, game na!" she said in the teaser.
Just hours later, Netflix Philippines officially unveiled Kris as its newest C.H.I.K.A. through a fun Instagram reel.

The reel opens with Kris confidently walking into Netflix's editing room, where she meets editor Earljohn and immediately takes charge.
"Hello everyone, good morning! Ako ang bago ninyong boss. The new Netflix C.H.I.K.A," Kris announced.
"Are you ready para simulan na natin ang ating August campaign? Yes? Yes!" she excitedly added.
Fans were then treated to a classic Kris as she gave her signature witty observations and suggestions on how to elevate Filipino series available on Netflix.
From making emotional scenes hit harder and action sequences more thrilling to improving wardrobe choices and challenging Earljohn to level up his edits, Kris embraced her new role with the charisma and candid personality that made her one of Philippine entertainment's most beloved icons.
After reviewing the final edits, Kris gave her stamp of approval.
"I love it! Ang bongga! We make a great team," she said to Earljohn.
The video ended with the announcement that A Secret in Prague, Blood vs Duty, and The Master Cutter are all officially Kris Aquino-approved.
"All of these are Kris Aquino-approved. Watch them on Netflix!" the reel concluded.
The collaboration immediately delighted fans, many of whom have long awaited Kris's return to the screen after she stepped away from show business to focus on her health while battling multiple autoimmune diseases.
