These were the words that the Philippines’ Queen of all Media Kris Aquino shared with the public as she previously opened up about her battle with her autoimmune diseases. The celebrity mother has been very vocal about fighting and never giving up as she wants to see the next chapter of her kids, Josh and Bimby.
“Talagang pipilitin ko because my next chapter is to become a stage mother,” she previously shared in an interview with her good friend, Boy Abunda.

Kris has been battling several autoimmune diseases for years now. She previously stayed in the US for some time before she headed back to the country in 2024.
Since returning to the Philippines, the veteran host and actress has continued her treatment plan developed by her trusted medical team. Apart from the medical treatment, she has also been very grateful to her millions of fans around the world who continue to pray for her health to be fully restored.
For Kris, the fight isn’t just for her but for her children, whom she uses as motivation.
“My sons are the reason I continue to endure—if I wasn't their mama, matagal na po akong sumuko. It’s very difficult to be as brave as my dad & my mom because I know this is just the beginning of more aggressive treatment to keep me alive and get me to a point of remission,” she previously stated.

True enough, the Queen of All Media has been making sure to spend all her time showing her love and support for Josh and Bimby. Since coming home, she has shared glimpses of their intimate celebrations–– be it their birthdays or simple gatherings.
She has since then been making public appearances every now and then–– even showing up to Bimby’s hosting stint. While she has yet to make a full showbiz comeback, her loyal fans and the Filipino people all want the same thing: for her to make a full recovery and return to the stage where she shines.
