Kris Aquino gave her fans another reason to celebrate as she stepped out in high spirits, reuniting with actor Dingdong Dantes and friends in the industry, including Darla Sauler.
In a video reel shared by her hairstylist Jonathan Velasco on Instagram on March 23, Kris appeared cheerful and energized as she prepared to head out. Joining her "A-team" was makeup artist RB Chanco, with the group sharing light moments and conversation as they got her ready.
The clip later showed the group enjoying a buffet as well as Kris talking with Dingdong and Darla outside an establishment with her son, Bimby.
Fans flooded the comments section with excitement, noting how happy and healthier Kris looked.
“Miss Kris looks healthy as she gained a little bit of weight. This is so nice to see. Sana nag tuloy tuloy na po ang pag galing at pag lusog mo po ms ms kris β€οΈπ,” one fan wrote.
“Can't wait to see you and hear you talk a lot and more and more chika. @krisaquino π«Άπ»π,” another added.
While it remains unclear whether the gathering was tied to a possible project, the sight of Kris reconnecting with friends in the industry has sparked excitement among fans, especially as she continues to battle multiple autoimmune diseases and recover from recent surgeries.

Kris and Dingdong previously worked together in the 2011 Metro Manila Film Festival horror film Segunda Mano.
The gathering follows a series of meaningful reunions for Kris. Just last February, she spent time with longtime co-host and King of Talk Boy Abunda, as well as her Kris TV family, including co-host Melai Cantiveros with her husband, Jason Francisco. They were joined by her eldest son Josh during that time, which came shortly after her birthday celebration on February 14.
Earlier this month, Kris also made headlines after spending time with Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos at the Malacañang Palace.
As she continues her healing journey, Kris has shared plans of launching her own video podcast once she gains medical clearance, expressing hope that this year will be her “rainbow year.”
