College basketball player Chad Gammad broke his silence once more to defend his girlfriend, Apple David, over criticisms she received on his post. In a Facebook comment, the rising Colegio de San Juan de Letran athlete questioned the netizens who have been sharing hate comments about his girlfriend.
Chad was celebrating National Girlfriend’s Day earlier this month and shared two photos of Apple on his official Facebook account. Immediately after posting, netizens made harmful comments about Apple.

“Wow, na flex si mommy!” a netizen wrote.
“Tapos na mothers day ah ano to late upload?” another netizen expressed.
The basketball player seemed to have enough with the rude comments about his girlfriend and quickly defended Apple.
“Mag-isip-isip naman kayo bago kayo mag-comment o baka may sira talaga sa utak niyo,” Chad wrote.
“Wala namn ginawang masama si Apple sa inyo ba't ganun kayo kabilis mag bash tas sabihin nyo na namn na si Apple nag-comment neto,” he added.

Some of his fans defended the couple against the negative comments on his post. Others have continued to share their opinions about the relationship that the couple has been flaunting on social media.
Back in July, Chad also told netizens to stop posting AI-generated content of him with other girls and hoped that they would have some “self-respect.”
Chad and Apple hard-launched their relationship on social media earlier this year, which caught the attention of thousands of netizens. Despite their age gap–– the basketball player being more than a decade younger than the courtside reporter–– the two have maintained their love for one another.
Apple has also denied grooming Chad and asserted that despite knowing that it’s a “risky relationship” she hopes that fans could allow them to love each other in peace.
“I know it’s a very risky relationship because of the age gap, but it’s a risk we are both taking and I hope people can be kind enough to allow us to do that in peace,” she previously expressed.
