Content creator and PBA courtside reporter Apple David maintained that she is unbothered by comments about her age. In a recent TikTok Live that netizens have screen-recorded, she expressed her views on being called "gurang."
Apple is 33 years old and recently became a trending topic on social media after confirming her relationship with 18-year-old basketball player Chad Gammad.

“Tsaka hindi nakaka-offend, direk, yung sabihan ka ng gurang kasi ang gurang ibig sabihin nun, matanda, di ba? Eh matanda naman talaga ang 33. Pero, ang catch dun, 33 pero ganito ang itsura,” she shared.
The content creator then shared that she hopes the netizens who use the term gurang will also look like her when they’re 33 years old.
“Siguraduhin niyo kapag 33 na kayo, ganito din itsura niyo or mas maganda pa kayo. Mas makinis, wala pang masyadong fine lines, ha? Sa mga lakas mag salitang Gen Z na easily offended,” she said.
“Alagaan niyo yung mga sarili niyo para pag 33 na kayo, gustuhin pa rin kayo,” she maintained.
During the same TikTok Live, Apple revealed that, because of the engagement she’s been receiving on social media, she earned ₱50,000 from one application alone. She expressed her gratitude to the netizens, using their donations to fund her date with Chad.
“Hayaan na natin, tuwing ginagawa nila ako ng content, nagkakaengagement. Parang 50,000 ata yung kinita ng Facebook last month. Maraming salamat. Kaninong nanggaling yung pang date namin? Sa kanila. 50,000 ba naman kinita ng blue app ko,” she asserted.

Previously, Apple denied the grooming allegations against her. She claimed that they could also file a report so that authorities would investigate if the allegations were true.
“Di ko siya ginugroom, wala sa qualifications. Yung nangyayari sa amin, malayong malayo sa grooming so wag niyong ipilit,” she previously said.
“Pero kung gusto niyong ipilit, again, go. Story niyo yan. Kung sa tingin niyo, yun yung case na nangyayari, bakit hindi niyo ireklamo at ipaimbestiga ng malaman niyo din naman. Okay din sa akin ’yun para ma-clarify na walang ganun,” she said.
