After confirming her relationship with 18-year-old up-and-coming basketball star Chad Gammad last May, 33-year-old Apple David shared a glimpse of their relationship with her followers on TikTok. A series of clips of their various dates–from basketball to dining out to gym sessions–were shown in the 27-second video.
Apple has turned off the comment section on her TikTok post as of this writing.

The PBA courtside reporter and content creator didn’t write anything else in the caption, but a heart emoji and tagging Chad’s profile. She also used the song "Those Eyes" by New West as the background music for her video.
In another post, Apple shared a “POV” of being reminded that the person you love loves you back.
“Buti nalang nagclick,” she expressed.
As she didn’t turn off the comment section on her recent post, netizens have shared their mixed reactions. Other netizens have come to defend the relationship between the two, while others still question her.
“Guys why do you judge? that's their life. unbothered nga ang family ng guy so why mas affected pa kayo? whatever it is as whatever the reason is dapat di kayo nangengealam ng buhay ng iba. unahin niyo mga problema at buhay niyo,” a fan wrote.
“Na para bang ang tawagan ay mhie at nak,” another netizen added.

Apple and Chad’s relationship has become a trending topic on social media over the past few weeks due to the significant age gap between them. Previously, the courtside reporter went on live and answered some questions about it.
“I guess kahit anong ingay gawin niyo, kahit paabutin niyo pa sa kabilang universe 'tong issue. Kahit ano pang bashing ang sabihin niyo, saan kayo aabutin niyan? Kayo lang yung nastestress… Sige kayo magmumukha kayong 33. Lalo kayong hindi gugustuhin ng a little younger lang– – wag niyo na akong tularan na super young,” she previously said.
She has since then admitted that she knows it’s a “risky relationship” but asked the public to allow them to have it in “peace.”
“I know it’s a very risky relationship because of the age gap, but it’s a risk we are both taking and I hope people can be kind enough to allow us to do that in peace,” she expressed.
