Several Pinoy Big Brother housemates across different seasons came together earlier this week to bid farewell to the iconic house they once lived in. Snippets of their goodbyes were uploaded on their personal Instagram accounts.
The iconic PBB house is closing its doors as confirmed by head of TV Production and Star Magic, Laurenti Dyogi. This comes after weeks of speculation that the hit reality show will be moving to a new location.
PBB housemates from the first Celebrity Collab Edition–– Kira Balinger, AZ Martinez, Michael Sager, Ralph de Leon, Josh Ford, and Vince Maristela –– came together to relive the memories they once had inside the house.
Kira, Michael, Josh, and Vince expressed their gratitude for the experience and friendship they’ve made during their stay. The group happily posed in several parts of the house such as the sleeping quarters, the pool area, and the dining hall, among others.
“A beautiful goodbye. π«ΆπΌ Thank you Kuya for everything,” Kira wrote.
“End of an era, thankful I got to call this place home,” Michael said.
“Salamat sa lahat Kuya! π We’ll miss your house,” Josh added.
“Salamat kuya,” Vince expressed.
AZ and Ralph made sure to recreate some poses they did back when they were housemates. The Kapamilya actor shared that they recreated the poses for their fans who are celebrating their anniversary.
“Anong paalam? ayaw ko. walang iwanan,” AZ quipped.
“balik-bahay + bye-bye bahay. happy anniv, @azralphofc ! sana maenjoy niyo yung onting pag-recreate namin:),” Ralph shared.
PBB Celebrity Collab Edition 2.0 housemates Caprice Cayetano, Joaquin Arce, Heath Jornales, Ashley Sarmiento, John Clifford, Rave Victoria, Fred Moser, and Marco Masa were also present. They are the last batch of housemates to ever grace the original PBB house.
Meanwhile, Fourth Solomon, who was part of the adult housemates of the All In edition back in 2014, made sure to return for one last time to bid his farewell to the PBB house. During his visit, several housemates from the Celebrity Collab edition were there as well.
Present to say her goodbyes at the house was Teen Edition 4 Big Winner, Myrtle Sarrosa, who was spotted in Fourth’s post on Threads.
“Last hurrah, housemates! π β¨ Bago gibain ang pinaka-sikat na bahay sa Pilipinas, ang @pbbabscbntv Pinoy Big brother house, maramxtmyrtleing salamat, Kuya! π Good luck sa bago mong tahanan kuya,” Fourth wrote.
Chx Alcala and Nene Tamayo represented the housemates coming from the first edition of the hit reality show. The first-ever Big Winner Nene seemingly had time to bond with Caprice as well as seen in their posts.
“Sa takdang panahon @pbbabscbntv π€β€οΈππ hanggang sa muling pagkikita Kuya at Housemate,” Nene expressed.
Meanwhile, there is no announcement yet about where the next PBB house will be, but there are plans already for a new season as ABS-CBN still holds the license for the franchise.
