The team behind Pinoy Big Brother is exploring plans to move the long-running reality show to a new house.

PBB Business Unit Head Marcus Vinuya revealed the possibility during an episode of Bianca Gonzalez's podcast Paano Ba 'To, where he answered questions from fans about the show.

"Yes, there are definitely plans to move. But it's something na we are still exploring, we are still studying, but again, it might be sooner than you think," he disclosed.

Marcus acknowledged that leaving the current house would be an emotional moment for the PBB family. "That would be a very nostalgic moment for us if it happens na parang this is really the last season in this house," he said.

At the same time, he described the potential move as both bittersweet and exciting. "Definitely, it will happen. It will come to a point that we need to find a new house. But it's also something [that is] sad but at the same time, I think I am excited for it na mabago kasi nga minsan kapag ganito, feeling mo nakaka-add din siya sa preparation sa mga taong pupunta eh kasi familiar sila sa space. But what if it's really a new one?" he stated.

During the same interview, Marcus also teased that a regular edition of PBB may be coming soon after the recent "celebrity collab" editions.

"Definitely, because 'yun naman ang essence ng Big Brother. It's really showing the regular Joes," he pointed out. "Moving forward, definitely we will be having a regular edition... It maybe sooner than people think... Let's see if it materializes but if things fall through, it's sooner than you think."

This year marks the 21st anniversary of Pinoy Big Brother. Reflecting on the show's longevity, the Kapamilya executive highlighted the program continues to resonate with audiences because of its housemates.

"I think Big Brother will still have many more years here in the Philippines. Kasi nga there came a point na, ah siguro last na 'to, kasi nga we've been doing this for a long time. And this season happens and biglang wow, it's another hit. So you feel na parang, people latch on the personalities talaga, the housemates, even if we do the same tasks over and over again. It's how the housemates react to it that people really watch. And I think iyon 'yung strength talaga ng Big Brother," Marcus stated.
