The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) issued subpoenas to beauty queen and actress Michelle Dee, actress Rhian Ramos, and beauty queen Samantha Panlilio. This was confirmed by Michelle’s legal counsel, attorney Maggie Abraham-Garduque, through a statement.
Michelle, Rhian, and Samantha allegedly physically assaulted and illegally detained the former driver of Rhian last January 17 to January 19, charges which have been denied by the celebrities.
The subpoena issued by the NBI was confirmed to have been received by the legal team of Michelle.
“We received the subpoena last week. The subpoena was sent to our law office and not to Michelle because at the onset we filed an entry of appearance so that all notices to Michelle will be sent to our office,” the statement shared.
Attorney Maggie assured everyone that their client, Michelle, will be complying with the subpoena issued.
“We understand that part of the case build up and investigation of the NBI is to send the subpoena to the respondents so that their side can be heard on this matter also. We will comply with the subpoena and will subpoena Michelle’s sworn statement regarding the complaint of Rhian’s driver,” she added.

Meanwhile, she gave an update as well to the qualified theft case that her client has filed against the driver alias “Totoy.” A subpoena was also issued to him.
“Nareceive na rin ni alias 'Totoy' ang subpoena ng Office of the City Prosecutor of Makati para pasagutin siya sa kasong ito,” she said.
“Yesterday was the supposed hearing for the submission of Alyas Totoy’s counter affidavit, but he appeared at the hearing and merely asked for an additional period to file his counter affidavit. The fiscal gave him an inextensible period of time of until March 3 to submit his counter affidavit. Otherwise the fiscal will submit the case for resolution,” she continued.
Michelle’s legal team is hopeful that “justice will finally be attained” by the Kapamilya singer soon.
“We are hoping that justice will finally be attained by Michelle in this case on the unlawful taking of alyas 'Totoy' of her personal property to her extreme damage and prejudice,” the statement ended.
Rhian and Samantha’s legal representatives have yet to issue statements as of this writing.
