Former Miss Universe Philippines Michelle Dee opened up about the status of her heart.
In an interview on the Almost Honest podcast hosted by Kylie Verzosa, Michelle was asked about her relationship status, to which she responded: "I am technically single, but my heart is taken. I am technically single because we're not officially together again yet but definitely off the market emotionally and all of that."
Further explaining the situation, she said: "When this [interview] comes out, I might not be single... With the situation that I have right now, it is actually up to me to ask... But me being single by the time this comes out depends greatly on my next move which is why I am technically single."
In the same interview, Michelle also pointed out that she has no gender preference when it comes to love. "The thing is definitely no preference in gender and that's why I am confident that I am bisexual because I always connect with the feelings not really the physical aspect of it."
She also described love as something that stems from energy and connection, although she also mentioned that height is something she looks for in a partner.
When asked if she is usually the one who leads the relationship, Michelle replied: "I like taking care of my partner but obviously it depends if when I'm with a man then the expectations are different. When I'm with a woman, then the expectations are different also. But I have no smilar situation where parang if I'm with a guy then dapat siya 'yung magbabayad ng lahat. It doesn’t work that way. I do like spoiling and doing my own versions of spoiling a person."
She went on: "But when I'm with a woman, then I think the expectations level out a little because I also like being taken cared of in certain situations, but there are situations where I like to take the lead."
