MANILA — Miss Universe Philippines 2023 Michelle Marquez Dee expressed full confidence in Ahtisa Manalo’s upcoming Miss Universe 2025 journey, describing her as a strong contender poised to make the country proud once again.
“I love Ahtisa. I feel like she has an amazing chance,” Dee said in an interview held at her OKgames event in Parañaque City, Saturday. “She has some of the best trainers in the country. She will fly to Thailand with her pockets full of surprises we should look forward to.”
Dee praised Manalo’s commitment, noting that the beauty queen from Quezon Province has been “putting her heart and soul into her journey like every single candidate we send abroad.”

Manalo will be competing for the Philippines fifth Miss Universe crown at the pageant’s 74th edition, which will take place Bangkok, Thailand, on November 21.
“We are still trying to make it work so I could go,” she explained. “If there is a chance to support our candidate, I want to. And ang lapit lang ng Thailand. Kaya sa lahat ng Pinoy na pwede, manuod na kayo!”
The 2025 Miss Universe competition will air across multiple ABS-CBN platforms this November 21 (Friday) 9 a.m. on Kapamilya Channel, A2Z, Metro Channel, and iWant.
Pageant enthusiasts can also catch the much-awaited Swimsuit Runway Show airing on November 15 (Saturday), 8 p.m. on Metro Channel, ANC, and iWant, with a replay on November 16, 9:30 p.m. on Kapamilya Channel.
