Dustin Yu got real about the score between him and Bianca De Vera during an interview with Aster Amoyo on December 19, offering a thoughtful and careful look at the bond they formed inside the Pinoy Big Brother house up until today. Dustin and Bianca, known to fans as DusBia, were the last pair of housemates to be evicted before the Big Night, making their story one that viewers closely followed even after their exit.

Asked who first caught his attention upon entering the PBB house, Dustin did not hesitate to name Bianca, describing how his curiosity toward her slowly grew during their time together.

He recalled how his interest deepened as they spent more time together inside the house, saying their daily interactions became something he genuinely looked forward to: “Parang everyday super nacu-curious ako sa kaniya, parang nilo-look forward ko na makasama siya, makausap siya noong nasa loob kami ng Bahay ni Kuya.

When asked if he felt the same interest coming from Bianca, Dustin answered honestly but carefully: “I hope so.”

Dustin shared that before joining PBB, he did not personally know Bianca, noting that they came from different networks and very different worlds. He explained that at the time, his focus was largely on work and self-growth.

Nags-showbiz po kasi ako nun tapos nagne-negosyo rin,” he said.

He emphasized that he was driven by personal goals, particularly when it came to building himself and his business, which shaped how he approached relationships before entering the house.

Dustin noted that both Bianca’s physical beauty and her personality  stood out for him, sparking his interest early on. “I feel like, Tita, first na-attract ako sa kaniya sa itsura niya tsaka sa personality niya talaga.

He also addressed a viral PBB clip where he mentioned not being fond of girls like Bianca, a statement that drew mixed reactions online. Dustin clarified what he truly meant by that remark.

Before meeting Bianca, Dustin shared that he had been single for about four years, a period he spent focusing on personal growth. Entering PBB, however, became a turning point for him: “Kasi parang tinrabaho ko talaga ‘yung sarili ko.

He went on to describe how Bianca’s personality and outlook in life left a lasting impression on him: “Stand out talaga sa akin ‘yung personality niya, ‘yung vision niya sa buhay. ‘Yung humor niya, nakakatawa rin. Hindi ka ma-bobore sa kaniya.”

“Everything happens for a reason talaga.

When asked about the current status of their relationship, Dustin chose his words carefully, explaining that what they share continues to evolve. “Hindi ko kasi kayang sabihin kasi lagi kaming nagpro-progress as we build our connection. Siyempre, kung ano man ‘yung na-build namin sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya, for sure mas pinapatibay pa namin.”

He also addressed concerns about them being under different networks, saying it has not been an issue, especially with collaborations between ABS-CBN and GMA: “Yung friendship naman namin labas naman na po sa trabaho.”

Super happy kami na hanggang paglabas magkakasama kami ulit,” he maintained.

“Walang nagbago, mas lalong gumanda,” he added.

Dustin also took time to acknowledge the fans who continue to support them, saying their encouragement has played a significant role in their journey.

Dustin and Bianca are among the lead stars of the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival entry Love You So Bad, alongside fellow PBB alum Will Ashley.

When asked if the two have already shared a kiss, Dustin teased audiences with a playful response: “Abangan niyo yan sa movie.”

Reflecting on how the project came together, Dustin shared how working with fellow housemates felt like a continuation of what they started inside the PBB house.

Itong movie na ‘to,” he shared.

Dustin Yu is enjoying a milestone year as he stars in two entries at the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival. Aside from Love You So Bad, co-produced by Star Cinema, GMA Pictures, and Regal Entertainment and directed by Mae Cruz-Alviar, he is also part of Shake, Rattle, & Roll: Evil Origins. Both films open in cinemas nationwide starting December 25.
