Bianca de Vera opened up about what Will Ashley and Dustin Yu mean to her.
In an interview with Boy Abunda, Bianca described Dustin as her "adrenaline," sharing: "I think Dustin brings out the best in me that I'd never discovered before.”
Recalling their time together inside Pinoy Big Brother, Bianca explained how Dustin's support helped her overcome her self-doubt, especially during challenges.
"Like for example nung PBB, mag-final duo po kami and parang hindi po kasi ako talaga masyadong magaling sa physical tasks. But there were times na parang ang galing ko pala kasi he was always there to support me."
Meanwhile, Bianca described Will as her "pahinga."
"He keeps me calm talaga... Parang he really keeps me steady," she explained. "'Yung peace, and the quietness in the moments that we share. Because with me, I feel like as Bianca ang dami-daming nangyayari sa life and ang daldal ko, ganyan, but siguro when I spend time with him, I see na okay, it's also peaceful pala kapag tahimik lang.”
Bianca, Will, and Dustin are set to star in the Metro Manila Film Festival 2025 entry Love You So Bad.
The movie follows the story of "sassy, confident and unapologetically herself, college senior Savannah (Bianca) [who] is determined to live life on her own terms. She finds herself torn between two very different men: one who fuels her wild side, bad boy and chick magnet LA (Dustin), and one who challenges her to grow, principled and ambitious Vic (Will). As old wounds resurface and difficult choices confront her, she must decide who she really wants to be and who she dares to love," as per previous report by ABS-CBN Films.
During the recent media conference of the movie, Bianca admitted that she felt pressured as the two actors' leading lady.
"Well, I'm going to be really honest. Grabe 'yung pressure nung nalaman ko and even every day na nagte-taping kami 'yung pressure bilang leading lady nila pareho," she confessed, as reported by GMA Pictures. "Grabe kasi 'yung dalawa (Will and Dustin), grabe 'yung talent nila. What they bring into the table, grabe. Two beautiful souls, two beautiful boys."
Love You So Bad is a collaboration among major Filipino film studios ABS-CBN Films (Star Cinema), GMA Films, and Regal Entertainment.
In an interview with TV Patrol in August, Will described the project as a "dream come true" for both himself and his co-stars.
Meanwhile, Dustin shared his excitement about the opportunity to work alongside his fellow PBB housemates and director Mae Cruz-Alviar.
"Sobrang na-excite talaga ako, knowing 'yung mga makakasama ko and, of course, with direk Mae, na sabi ko sa kaniya kanina, halos lahat ng ginawa ni Direk, pinapanood ko talaga," he stated.
Bianca, for her part, expressed how "very, very happy" she was to lead a "big project" that brings together three major film studios.
Screenwriter Crystal San Miguel revealed that Love You So Bad drew inspiration from the 1998 film Dahil Mahal Na Mahal Kita, which starred Rico Yan, Claudine Barretto, and Diether Ocampo.
Director Cruz-Alviar pointed out, however, that the film is not a remake. "It's not a remake, it's just inspired by," she explained. "Inspired by because the story... this is relevant to this day.”
