Thea Gagate has signed with the Denso Airybees, the Japan SV.League club announced Friday.
Gagate, a 6-foot-2 middle blocker, joins the list of Filipino imports in Japan.
“Joining the league with them is a massive opportunity. I see so much potential in what this squad can achieve, and I’m ready to give everything I have to contribute to that legacy,” said Gagate as the club made the announcement.
The De La Salle University product also becomes the third Pinay player to play for Denso, after Jia de Guzman and Jaja Santiago.
Gagate is also part of the Alas Pilipinas Women’s squad which is set to play in the 2026 SEA V Cup.
