MANILA — Zus Coffee swept Choco Mucho, 25-14, 25-20, 25-23, claiming its second straight win in the 2026 Premier Volleyball League (PVL) on Tour Showdown on Saturday in Batangas City.
The Thunderbelles had to shut down a late Choco Mucho rally in the third frame to seal the match.
Zus Coffee was the first to reach the 23-point mark, thanks to a Jolina dela Cruz spike. Caitlin Viray answered back with a checkball hit, but dela Cruz was there again with an off-the-block hit, as the returning AC Miner dealt the game-winning kill block to end the match in one hour and 16 minutes.

No Thunderbelle breached twin-digit scoring, but the team had a balanced attack as Chinnie Arroyo delivered nine points, and Jovelyn Gonzaga as well as Alyanna Ong chipped in eight points each.
Dela Cruz and Rachel Daquis, meanwhile, added six markers as Zus Coffee improved to 2-0.
On the other hand, Viray had a game-high 12-point output, but for the losing cause. Eya Laure, Sisi Rondina, and Dawn Catindig are not suiting up for Choco Mucho yet due to national team duties.
