MANILA — Galeries turned back Farm Fresh in four sets, 25-17, 24-26, 25-19, 26-24, in the 2026 PVL on Tour Showdown on Saturday in Batangas City.
With the win, 2026 PVL Rookie Draft number one overall pick Lams Lamina has made a winning debut on the professional ranks, helping steer Galeries, with Julia Coronel still playing as the squad's main setter.
Coronel tallied 21 excellent sets, as Lamina came off the bench to help the Highrisers go 1-0 in the preseason tourney.

With Galeries being two points away from sealing the match, 23-21 in the fourth period, Farm Fresh veteran Royse Tubino dealt a sharp spike that put them within one.
Lycha Ebon, who eventually finished with seven points, answered back with an off-the-block hit, but Tubino was there again with another attack, as Riri Meneses equalized the match with a quick attack, 24-all.
Ebon put Galeries again on match point advantage with an attack, and Roselle Baliton found the closer from a combination play with Lamina, sealing a quick hit at the middle.

Deloria took charge with a whopping 24 points on 22 attacks and two aces, to go along with 10 digs and 13 receptions, completing a triple-double.
Seasoned player Aiza Maizo-Pontillas garnered 13 points as well, as Blove Barbon helped defend the Galeries side of the taraflex with 17 receptions and nine digs.
On the other hand, Tubino finished with 12 points, while Ara Galang, who was coming from a stint with Alas Pilipinas Women, delivered 11 points, although in a loss.
