MANILA — National University star setter Lams Lamina is up for the challenge of helping the rebuilding Galeries Tower.
Lamina was picked first overall in the 2026 PVL Rookie Draft held Wednesday at the Novotel Manila in Quezon City.
She vowed to give her all for the Highrisers.
“Ako naman, very excited. Kasi siyempre, first of all, team Galeries is parang rebuilding daw po sila. And also, siyempre ako as a rookie, bago ako sa sistema, pero siyempre I accept the challenge and tutulong po talaga ako hanggang sa makakaya ko,” said Lamina.
“Ibibigay ko ‘yung best ko, one hundred percent ko.”

The two-time UAAP seniors Best Setter is also excited to face former NU teammates, including fellow PVL Draft top pick Bella Belen.
At excited po ako rin,” she said.
