CANDON, Ilocos Sur — The Far Eastern University (FEU) women’s volleyball team has parted ways with coach Tina Salak.
The team announced the development Saturday morning, thanking Salak for her service to her alma mater.
“We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to Coach Tina Salak for her outstanding leadership and commitment to the team over the past four seasons,” the team said in a social media post.
“Her dedication, passion, and tireless efforts have played a significant role in shaping our program and elevating our standards both on and off the field.”
In her last season with the Lady Tamaraws, Salak supervised the squad to an 8-6 finish, narowly missing out on a Final Four berth.
Salak is also the coach of the Akari Chargers in the Premier Volleyball League.
