PNVF: Bundit to sit out Alas Pilipinas Women duties for two months due to accident

MANILA — Philippine National Volleyball Federation (PNVF) president Tonyboy Liao confirmed Wednesday that Alas Pilipinas Women head coach Tai Bundit will sit out national team duties for around two months.

This, as Bundit suffered an accident in Bangkok, Thailand last weekend.

“Yes, Coach Tai [Bundit] will sit out for 2 months [due to an accident] in Bangkok last weekend,” Liao told ABS-CBN News.

The development was first reported by volleyball correspondents who attended a PNVF event.

With this, Bundit is expected to miss the upcoming AVC Nations Cup in Candon, Ilocos Sur.
