MANILA, Philippines – PLDT will advance to the PVL on Tour quarterfinals.
This, as the High Speed Hitters demolished previously perfect Nxled, 25-11, 25-17, 25-21, at the USJ-R Coliseum in Cebu City.
They are now on top of Pool A, grabbing a 4-0 win-loss record while pushing the Chameleons down 3-1.

Kim Kianna Dy, who is celebrating her birthday today, July 26, contributed nine points and three blocks in the PLDT win, while Kiesha Bedonia headlined her team's firepower with 15 points on 10 attacks, three blocks, and two aces.

Majoy Baron also chipped in 13 points on 11 attacks, breaching twin-digit scoring territory for the winning side.
After missing the earlier part of the pre-season tilt, Savi Davison also made her return to the team on limited minutes.
The High Speed Hitters dominated the blocking department, nailing 13 compared to Nxled's only five. They also did well on the service line, converting five aces, while the losing cause had none.
EJ Carino was the only Chameleon who listed double-digit scoring with 11 points built on 10 attacks and one block.
PLDT hopes to complete a sweep of Pool A on Sunday against Galeries, while Nxled eyes to regain its winning ways against Farm Fresh on the same game date, also in Cebu.
