MANILA, Philippines – National University's Sheena Toring is one excited player as she anticipates the thought of teaming up with stars Alyssa Valdez, Michele Gumabao, and more in the 10-time PVL champion Creamline.
Toring was the first-round pick of the Cool Smashers in the recently held 2025 PVL Rookie Draft on Sunday at the Novotel Manila in Quezon City.
As she soaks up the next chapter of her career, the three-time UAAP champion said she's thrilled with the development, sharing that she's ready to fill in the needs of the team.

"So excited po ako makipag-training sa mga professional players, sina ate Alyssa, sila ate Michele Gumabao po," Toring told reporters.
"I think again, big expectation talaga na 'pag champion team Creamline. So ako kung ano 'yung i-improve ko pa, so I hope kung ano 'yung kulang sa Creamline, ita-try kong i-fill up po," she added.
Toring admitted that she's not expecting that many changes as she again goes under the tutelage of her NU coach Sherwin Meneses in the pros.

"I'm really happy na nasa Creamline ako kasi knowing coach Sherwin [Meneses] nga, alam ko 'yung sistema niya," Toring said.
"So big advantage 'yon para sa 'kin. So wala na 'ko masyadong changes po," the middle blocker added.
Before joining the Lady Bulldogs in the UAAP seniors, she was already a five-time champion at the high school level in NU-Nazareth.
