MANILA, Philippines – Akari middle blocker Fifi Sharma asked the public on Thursday to not pay attention to the rumors about her transferring to a different team in the PVL.

Alleged hearsays circulated on social media stating that the Akari blocker will transfer to a different shade of pink in Creamline.

Sharma denied such and said that "it was just nothing."

"Wala yun," Sharma expressed. "Don't listen to what people say on Facebook, guys. That's my number one advice. Whatever you see on Facebook, always fact-check."

However, she also pleaded with people to "wait" for something that is not yet final.

"As long as there’s no official statement, don’t make fake news appear to be real, especially to impressionable minds such as volleyball fans," the Alas Pilipinas middle blocker said.

"Let’s just wait. Wala ‘yun. ‘Wag muna mag-ano ng final but wala ‘yun, never mind it."

Sharma also revealed that she's at a crossroads, seeking compromise with her team to don national colors with Alas.

"As of now, we’re still trying to reach a compromise. Ako, if you were to ask me, of course, I wanna play and I’d give everything to play, but we’ll see. We’re still waiting on people’s decisions," she said.

Sharma shared her bold prediction for the championship clash: "La Salle in three."

The Akari standout, as well as PLDT's Kim Kianna Dy and Farm Fresh's Jolina dela Cruz, graced a meet-and-greet event hosted by Watsons and the PVL on Thursday at SM Megamall in Mandaluyong City.
