MANILA — George King unleashed 46 points as San Miguel dumped Converge, 126-114, in the PBA Season 50 Governors’ Cup on Wednesday night at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.
It was a conference-high output for King, who shot 10-of-19 on the field and added 14 rebounds as well as six assists.
Don Trollano had an impressive night as well, firing 27 points to backstop King’s explosion, while June Mar Fajardo showed that he can pass as well, tallying 10 assists while grabbing 21 rebounds.

Jerrick Ahanmisi chipped in 15 points, as Marcio Lassiter and Jericho Cruz had nine markers each.
Only a 65-64 count after two quarters, the Beermen went on a tear, outscoring the FiberXers 37-21 in the third frame that defined the rest of the match en route to a fifth win.
Meanwhile, Converge continued its drop, suffering its fourth consecutive loss despite starting the conference with a 3-0 card.
Calvin Abueva dropped 26 points, tying the scoring output of their import Jamaal Franklin in the defeat.
