The 6-foot-5 10th overall pick in the PBA 50 Rookie Draft is finally set to make his jump to the professional ranks as he has concluded his obligations with Nueva Ecija in the MPBL, and it would be of timely help for the Elasto Painters.
Manaytay was signed to a two-year deal as the E-Painters seek to fill the void which was left by Keith Datu, who will be out for the season due to a ruptured patellar tendon.
Also on the injured list are E-Painters big men Caelan Tiongson and Luis Villegas.
Manaytay previously posted 7.3 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 2.0 assists for Nueva Ecija, numbers he will look to replicate or better once he suits up for Rain or Shine.
