Following their heated confrontation with the motorcycle’s real owner, who grew even more furious after discovering that his vehicle had been severely damaged on the very day he was supposed to reclaim it—as promised by Gabo (Coco Martin) and Elton (Lito Camo) the day before—Gabo was pressed by his family and friends to explain what had happened.
Gabo recounted that, on his way home from the hospital, he happened to pass by a man being ganged up on by a group of hooligans trying to rob and kill him. He unintentionally tipped the motorcycle over as he quickly got off to rush to the man’s aid.
While everyone was convinced by his story, Betchay (Irma Adlawan) remained skeptical—until Gabo showed them the money that the man had given him as a token of appreciation for his heroic act.
Betchay immediately grabbed the money as Gabo was handing it to Rudy (Joey Marquez), but Rudy told her to return it to his son. When Rudy insisted that Gabo take the money back because it rightfully belonged to him, Gabo was just as hesitant as Betchay. A tug-of-war ensued between Betchay and Gabo, with both refusing to let go of the cash.
Despite having only one functioning arm, Rudy managed to break Betchay’s grip on the money by pulling her hair, allowing Gabo to win their hilarious little contest. After getting his money back, Gabo’s friends teased him and asked him to treat them, reminding him that they had risked their lives to help him retrieve the motorcycle. Gabo agreed.
Elton then asked Gabo about the motorcycle’s repair costs, to which Rudy replied that he would take care of them. Gabo’s Uncle Dante (Julio Diaz) also tried to ask for at least a small share, but his wife, Aunt Mameng (Ces Quesada), quickly called him out.
