Despite not being fully prepared to step onto the stage as the celebrity player for the night, Lucky Star Pokwang treated Kapamilyas to an entertaining game on "Kapamilya, Deal Or No Deal" after the Lucky Wheel landed on her assigned briefcase, number 9, during the game show’s July 12 episode.
In her introduction video, the all-around entertainer shared that she is currently not looking for love, saying that her children’s unwavering affection is more than enough for her. Instead, she joked that what she was really looking for was something that could make her bank account "full and happy"—a playful reference to the Banker.
Upon learning that the celebrity player was happily single, Pambansang Host Luis Manzano called veteran comedian Long Mejia to the stage to see whether Pokwang’s heart was ready to love again. With his “European childhood friend” by his side, Luis introduced Long to Pokwang, who kept her eyes closed in anticipation. As she waited, she playfully quipped, “Malayo pa lang amoy pormalin. Siya na ’yan!”
Long greeted her with an enthusiastic “Surprise!” delivered in his comical attempt at a European accent, prompting Pokwang to look up at the sky and plead, “Lord, okay na po ako.”
When it was time to choose her briefcase, Pokwang decided to give up her assigned briefcase and instead selected Long’s briefcase, number 1, as her case for the game.
