Known for her 'non chalant' online persona in her Tiktok kitchen dancing videos, Lucky Star Joyang experienced a rollercoaster of emotions as she finally stepped onto the "Kapamilya, Deal or No Deal" stage after the Lucky Wheel selected her as the celebrity player for the show's July 11 episode.
After spending the evening eliminating cash prizes from the board, Joyang eventually reached the final round of negotiations with the Banker. Thanks to her impressive gameplay, the Banker had no choice but to offer her a tempting deal of ₱265,000.
With only the ₱100,000 and ₱500,000 amounts remaining, Joyang carefully weighed her options, especially with her dream of buying her family a car on the line. Despite the overwhelming pressure that nearly drove her bananas, "The Banana Queen" set her fears aside and trusted that her assigned briefcase, number 18, would bring her luck, ultimately declining the Banker's offer.
Her fellow Lucky Stars rushed to the stage to celebrate after Pambansang Host Luis Manzano revealed the ₱500,000 prize inside Joyang's chosen briefcase. The entire studio erupted in applause, commending her exceptional bravery and confidence throughout the game.
Still trying to process her historic win, an overjoyed Joyang reflected on the bold decision that led to her victory: "Parang first time ko pong lumaban nang ganito, so parang inilaban ko na talaga siya."
