In his pursuit of fulfilling the promise he made to his beloved father, Rudy (Joey Marquez), of living a brand-new life following his emancipation, Gabo (Coco Martin) went job hunting alongside his friends Tekla (Sue Ramirez), Bong (Smugglaz), and Ipe (Bassilyo) the day after he returned home.
Unsure which job they should apply for considering their educational attainments, the group simply applied to whatever job vacancies they’d spotted along the way. They initially applied as live sellers for a small hardware store despite their lack of experience, and it amusingly manifested during their audition for the roles.
The four tried their best to persuade potential online customers to buy the products they were trying to sell, but aside from nobody was taking them seriously, they were also bashed by viewers. Their nasty comments got on the nerves of Gabo and his friends, prompting them to threaten the viewers and hurl some of the items around them. Gabo even smashed the phone they were using for the live selling with a sledgehammer, which got the owners of the hardware store further enraged.
The livid owners of the hardware store—who were already unimpressed by the group’s performance—furiously told them to leave right there and then before they could cause further damage to their store. Gabo and his friends ran for their lives and headed to the public market, where they managed to secure jobs at a vegetable stall—Tekla as the cashier and the three men as porters.
