Following the bus robbery incident, where he bravely saved his fellow passengers from a group of hooligans attempting to rob them all by himself, and his hilarious encounter with Sam—who, unbeknownst to him, is a top agent of the National Criminal Agency (NCIA)—Gabo (Coco Martin) immediately made his way to Barangay Ginintuang Lupa.
Upon his arrival, Gabo was warmly and enthusiastically welcomed by his neighbors, who were overjoyed to see him again after he had spent eight years behind bars for a crime he did not commit. Among those most excited was his childhood friend Tekla (Sue Ramirez), who rushed toward him, leaped into his arms, and showered him with kisses, unable to contain her happiness at seeing him once more.
Just as a group of gay basketball players nearly ganged up on her because of Gabo, Tekla quickly whisked him away and brought him to his family’s home. There, they were greeted by their neighbor Diday (Diana Opilac), who was in the middle of a furious outburst after discovering that the sudden spike in her family’s water bill had been caused by their neighbors’ illegal water connection.
Gabo’s father, Rudy (Joey Marquez), attempted to calm Diday down, but to no avail. His attention was soon diverted, however, when he caught sight of his son. Overcome with emotion, Rudy embraced Gabo in a heartfelt reunion after years of separation.
While Gabo’s father and their friends were delighted by his return, the trio of Tolits (Jerald Napoles), Binoy (Nikko Natividad), and Daboy (Mammoth Estroso), were visibly shaken upon seeing Gabo back in the neighborhood, knowing that he would surely exact vengeance against their boss, Django (Jhong Hilario), the longtime nemesis of Gabo and the true culprit behind his incarceration.
