As Task Force Alpha heads back to their headquarters after apprehending two of their fellow NLEA officers for smuggling illegal firearms, they unexpectedly reunite with Marcus (Richard Gutierrez).
In light of the verdict involving the consequences of Marcus’ preventive suspension, TFA members, excluding Felix (Baron Geisler), begin to feel worried about the possibility of Marcus announcing his departure while emphasizing that they will never agree if that is the case.
Responding to their sincere concerns, Marcus smiles and affirms that his suspension is legitimately lifted, as well as the fact that no lawsuits will ever be filed against him.
After hearing the positive news, his colleagues show their support, with Liam (Albie Casiño) asking innocently if Marcus is going to join the team again in the next missions. Allan (Gerald Anderson) shows up right on time and plays a bit of humor about Liam’s question.
A few seconds later, Allan approaches Marcus, welcoming him back warmly. Equally, Marcus congratulates Allan for leading Task Force Alpha through a recently accomplished operation.
Allan then makes it clear that he values Marcus’ leadership of Task Force Alpha, adding that the team will never be complete without him. Rather strangely, Felix acts thrilled over Marcus’ return to duty, claiming that he never doubted him at all, in stark contrast to his last conversation with the new recruits, at which point he described Marcus sourly.
The silence lingers a little while but is quickly overtaken with applause and cheers.
Is this the starting point of a more formidable Task Force Alpha? Find out in “Blood vs Duty,” streaming on iWant and airing weeknights at 8pm on ABS-CBN sa ALLTV2, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live (KOL).
