Marcus (Richard Gutierrez) heads back to NLEA’s headquarters, where he gets applauded by his colleagues, including all the members of Task Force Alpha, for his recently accomplished heroic deed during the East Valley Montessori shooting incident.
Jalil then recalls the details he received from Ramli (Alex Medina) involving Marcus’ classified investigation at Isla Damai, especially the fact that Marcus genuinely believed in Datu Rahman’s (Jaime Fabregas) innocence, along with respecting the mourning of the island’s residents.
Ramli also brought up the questionable decision of Marcus to temporarily entrust Harold (Elmo Magalona) with him. After hearing this, Jalil becomes aware that Marcus placed importance on Harold’s safety from potential traitors at NLEA.
Back to Marcus’ celebrated return, Jalil extends his congratulations. The two speak of similar thoughts on their current wounds and injuries, and Jalil subtly shows relief with Marcus emerging as his trustworthy ally before shaking his hand.
