It may already be habagat season, yet BINI made it feel hot like the summer with their captivating live performance of “Blush,” one of the standout tracks from their latest album, Signals, during the June 13 episode of “ASAP XP.”
Dressed in vibrant blue-and-pink ensembles, the eight gorgeous and talented girls lit up the stage of Araneta Coliseum with an upbeat and visually stunning production number. Their “oh kalami” performance showcased the same confidence, energy, and stage presence that wowed audiences during their historic appearance at Coachella last April.
We may already know who each one of them is, but the BINI members still introduced themselves one by one as per their tradition. But instead of simply saying “hi” and their names, they added a personal touch to their performance by greeting the spectators using their respective native language or dialect—just like how they did it in the highly popular music fest.
Maloi charmed everyone with her Batangueña accent; proud Cebuanas Colet and Aiah hyped up the audience in Bisaya; Stacey wished everyone a good day in Ilokano; while Gwen proudly displayed her “oragon” side as a Bicolana. On the other hand, both Sheena and Jhoanna spoke in Tagalog, while Mikha delighted the crowd with an introduction in English, apparently embracing her reputation as the group’s resident “conyo” representative.
