As the celebration for BINI’s grand homecoming following the success of their historic Coachella stint continued on “ASAP XP,” the “Nation’s Girl Group” treated viewers to the live debut of their reinterpretation of Iñigo Pascual’s signature hit “Dahil Sa ’Yo” on the June 8 episode.
The cover, which came ten years after the well-loved song was released in 2016, is part of ABS-CBN's “Together Forever” campaign for Kapamilya Online Live and iWant, which reimagines the song’s message beyond romantic love. In this new rendition, the lyrics take on a broader meaning centered on staying connected with loved ones despite distance, allowing the track to resonate with themes of family, friendship, and community as much as romance.
Aside from captivating viewers with their lovely vocals, the BINI members’ charming stage presence and cute interactions with one another brought so much delight and kilig to their ardent “Blooms,” who made sure to be present to watch them and other artists live.
