The June 14 episode of “ASAP XP” kicked off on a high note with an electrifying celebration of girl power. Following the swoon-worthy performances of talented heartthrobs Darren Espanto and Kyle Echarri, who serenaded viewers with their renditions of Bruno Mars’ latest tracks, “Cha Cha Cha” and “I Just Might,” the spotlight shifted to the dynamic lineup of Jane de Leon, Maymay Entrata, Francine Diaz, Fyang Smith, Gela Atayde, and AC Bonifacio, who delivered a fiery production number.
Making a striking entrance together on the Big Dome stage, the six female stars then split into pairs for a series of standout performances. Maymay and Jane set the tone as they confidently belted out Maymay’s hit anthem, “Amakabogera.” Francine and Fyang took over the stage with an energetic dance performance to the Showtime Baby Dolls’ viral track “Ikembot Mo,” which has become a favorite among the madlang people. Meanwhile, AC and Gela then had a playful face-off while performing “Daleng Dale” by Pinoy pop group GAT.
The opening number culminated with the six talented, ravishing ladies reunited onstage as they sang “Amakabogera” all together.
