A yapper is a person who likes to talk too much about everything. Basically, someone who likes to over-share. Though traditionally a negative term for an annoying person, it is now commonly used in Gen Z slang to affectionately and humorously describe someone who loves to share opinions or chat at length. The term is also popularly used in platforms like TikTok and X (formerly Twitter).
