Soft Launch is an act of hinting about a new romance on social media without fully revealing your partner’s identity. Often used during the early stages of dating, it allows people to announce they are seeing somebody while controlling how much information is shared.
On the contrary, a hard launch is a direct public announcement of a new romantic relationship by tagging or posting identifiable, clear photos or videos of a new partner, revealing fully their identity.
