RELAPSE

Relapse: noun /rih-LAPS/

A sudden surge of intense emotions, often nostalgia, triggered by a memory or a specific person. It is often used casually, sometimes dramatically or humorously, to describe a temporary, sentimental set back in personal emotions. It describes the “10 PM phenomenon”—when you suddenly feel intense longing and message your ex, or stalk their social media, even if you are supposed to have “moved on”.

Paano gamitin nang bongga: (with reference to the movie Un/happy for You)

Un/happy for You, tagged as one of Star Cinema’s “relapse malala” movies, captures the painful, nostalgic, and often irrational experience of falling back into emotions for an ex-lover, even when it is not healthy.
