Deep within the secret area of ZylveriX Limited, a bound, beaten, and barely conscious Datu Rahman (Jaime Fabregas) is kept locked up by Lara (Bela Padilla). Upon seeing Datu Rahman in front of her, Lara shakes with immense anger and pent-up frustration.
In tears, she quickly moves to another room and completely breaks down, resorting to hitting the punching bag repeatedly. With each wave of her intensifying emotions, flashes of her past are unveiled. At a young age, her parents were killed by a man that appeared to be associated with Datu Rahman's Muslim community.
Believing that Datu Rahman was the ultimate cause of her parents’ tragic deaths, she returns to the same room that Marcus (Richard Gutierrez) went into moments after the Datu was moved to a more secluded area. It is then made clear that Lara has in fact kept track of Marcus’ progress in his personal investigation, essentially saying that she’s always two steps ahead of him.
